Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Mountain Elgon Hiking Tour

Day 1: Transfer to Mountain Elgon

On arrival at the Entebbe International airport, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you to Mountain Elgon National Park East of Uganda. Dinner and Overnight. Sipi Falls Rest Camp, Sipi River Lodge

Day 2: Explore Forest as you Hike to the Kapkwai Exploration Center

Wake up have breakfast then go a guided hike/ nature walk through the forest where you visit the Kapkwai Exploration Centre. After here, proceed on your walk visiting the Mountain Bamboo Trail which is 7 kms long to the gorge, River and the Southern edge. Dinner and Overnight. Sipi Falls Rest Camp,  Sipi River Lodge.

Day 3: Hike along the Sasa Trail

Wake up have breakfast then embark with packed lunch on a guided hike/ nature walk along the Sasa Trail which offers you views of the moorland, stunning terrains from a higher altitude. Have a break and enjoy your packed lunch then return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Sipi Falls Rest Camp,  Sipi River Lodge.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on a transfer to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
